Poem: Back to Loneliness
Back to Loneliness I’ve sat through so many hours thinking about you. I’ve walked so many streets wondering about you and thinking about those dreamy eyes. And I’m wondering if I’d ever see you again. The weather has changed, and the hours are coming to an end. I sing to myself as I remember of those moments when you took my hands and I closed my eyes to fall into the night with you. Now, I’m holding my own hands and falling into my own dreams without you. I guess this means back to loneliness. Back to the seconds and minutes of living without love. I live these moments like I used to before you entered my life and made it brand new. Today, I live without you, without love, without worries, and without the warmth. Back to loneliness of those moments when I saw you, but I didn’t take your hands. Back to those moments when our eyes didn’t meet, when the words of love didn’t come from you, and when everything was innocent and quiet. I’ll miss those moments and miss you as I walk thr...
