N.N. Nicky grew up in the Washington, D.C., area. He graduated from University of Maryland, Global Campus with a Bachelor's degree in Communication - Journalism and a Master's degree in Distance Education. He started writing when he was young, and finished many short stories at a young age.

Outside of writing, his hobbies also include playing tennis and traveling around the states and internationally.

He currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
